Updates
November 23, 2006
I hate to have to make this update, but because of those stupid spammers who keep invading our database with ads for viagra, vacations, cell phones, etc. (like their stupid ads are going to motivate me to buy anything they are selling), I've had to put some measures in place. In order to keep them out, I now require a validation before you can make an entry into the guestbook or the 'Do Not Contact Me' list. I'm sorry for the intrusion on your time, but with the work it takes to constantly clean up their filth, I didn't have much of a choice. Thanks for understanding.

One of our own, Jeffrey Cowan (Eddie) Johnson, passed away on February
24, 2006. Their is a guest
book which you can sign.
Jeffrey Cowan Johnson, "Eddie," passed
from this life on February 24, 2006. He was 47 years old. Jeff was
born in Aurora, Illinois but spent most of his life a Texan. He
was a graduate of Texas Tech and worked for the Travis County Appraisal
District for many years. Jeff's gift in life was his ability to
make people laugh with his wit and charm. He sure had both. He loved
life, his wife, his son, his family, his many great friends and
fishing in particular. He cared about his family very deeply as
shown by innumerable acts of kindness throughout his life. He was
an incredibly wonderful son, brother, father and husband. Jeff was
taken much too early from us when shortness of breath turned out
to be an inoperable heart tumor. If we can take anything away with
us from this tragedy it would be to live each day to the fullest
as he did. Jeff will be dearly missed by his wife Pat, son Sammy,
his parents, Linda and Richard Johnson, brother Chris, sisters Lisa
Witt, Carol Milton, Susan McAden and many loving cousins, nieces,
and nephews. A memorial service was held on Monday, February 27th
at First Presbyterian Church. The family requests that in lieu of
flowers an educational trust fund be set up for Jeff's son, Sammy.
There is a web site now, jeffeddiejohnson.com,
where information and details are being developed.

There is
a link to leave a message for her at the Dallas
Morning News web site. They have a guestbook, a way to sumit
your favorite photo of Suzan, and a way to make a donation.
I received this e-mail from Denise Whitley Hunse and wanted to
pass it on.
========================================= Denise
I just spoke with one of Suzun's friends and she has a great idea.
Her name is Debbie Harrison and her daughter and Shelby are best
friends, every year Debbie's daughter goes to a camp in Missouri
called Kanakuk. Suzun told Debbie on Saturday that she wanted Shelby
to go to this camp, so Debbie is taking the donations for Shelby.
Debbie is also hosting everyone at her house after the funeral.
Her address for donations and the gathering afterward is;
Debbie Harrison
2520 Alexa Court
Plano, Texas 75075
The food is being donated by Shepard Elementary's PTA. Could you
please pass this along?
Thanks
Lee

It has been awhile since I've worked on the site. Sorry about the hiatus, but
life sometimes gets in the way.
I'm sorry about the occasion requiring
me to make an update, but one of our beloved classmates is no longer with
us.
Suzan Banfield Culver passed on July 31, 2005. Her memorial service
will be held Thursday, August 4, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the Dickie
Harrington Funeral home in Plano at 18th and Jupiter.
Please send your prayers and sympathies to the family in their
time of need. If you like, please leave a few words for Susan's
family in the Guest Book. We will give these to the family.
As of now, I do
not have any further information about her or the situation,
but I will update this site as soon as I find anything out.

Well, the 25 year reunion has come and gone, and it was a LOT of
fun. To all of those who were there, thank you so much for coming.
It was great to see so many old friends again. To those who could
not make it, know we missed you (and probably talked about you)
and hope to see you at the 30 year reunion. To everyone who helped
plan and put this together, you did a GREAT job. The whole weekend
went perfectly. Your hard work and planning really paid off and
I can't thank you enough.
We took around 100 pictures Saturday night (actually, Lisa McIntier
Mott took the pictures and did a GREAT job. Thank you so much Lisa!!)
and have been posted on the pictures page (click here).
If you have pictures you took and wouldn't mind sharing with the
group,
please
e-mail me so we
can arrange getting them on the web. I can even help with scanning
if you need.
I would enjoy hearing from everyone about the reunion, things
they enjoyed and things they thought could have been done better.
Please leave your comments or just say Hi in the Guest
Book.
